A few years ago Kel had to buy a specific calculator for a math class she was taking. I was a little excited to see what the new versions of the TIs could do… I was very dissapointed to learn that the biggest “upgrade” from what we had in high school and college was that the new version had a “see through” case. yay.
A man who was accused of harassing the family of a black Monona Grove high school student in 2007 and 2008 is now serving a jail sentence and is barred from associating with white supremacist groups after he pleaded no contest to several felonies.

Middle kid had some pretty serious dental drama recently that required the left side of her mouth to be anesthetized. Instead of pouting about it and feeling sorry for herself, she found she could make us all laugh hysterically by smiling really big with the non-anesthetized half of her mouth that she could actually control. Hilarious.
