Joel and the massive CD collection

Kel and I had the pleasure of seeing her brother Joel over the past two days. He was in town dropping off some stuff at our house, using our basement as storage. This really pissed me off... let me explain. He comes in town for two days... He eats our food, sleeps in our house, and expects us to entertain him. For two days. In return we are obligated to store his CD collection, all his movies, and all his books?!? WOOO HOOO!!! ;)

When we were bringing his stuff in, I was eying some of his CDs. There's some really good stuff in there. My ripper will be seeing some heavy use over the next few weeks :)

We also got to watch "Adaptation" while Joel was here. It was the first time Kel and I had seen it and I *really* liked it. So far, I have really liked everything I've seen that Charlie Kaufman wrote the screenplay for, "Eternal Sunshine..." being one of my favorite movies of all time. I was really skeptical of "Adaptation" being that Nick Cage played the lead. I haven't liked a lot of his stuff for a while now, but I thought he did an excellent job in this movie. Any way, if for some reason you haven't seen it yet (as I hadn't) go watch it.

And by the way, Joel made it exactly an hour before bringing up Bruce Springsteen. If you're reading this Joel... it was good to see you man ;)
